Jim Jr. and Chris K. fished at Assunpink Lake this morning. What started out as a windy day eventually ended in a beautiful setting to catch fish. There was only one problem, the fish weren't cooperating. Only one hit today, a solid Largemouth that refused to be caught and shook Jim Jr.'s jig before he came into sight.

Jim Jr., Chuck B., and Chris J. fished The Great Bay this morning. The waters in front of the old fish factory turned out to be the most productive area. Chris took First Fish, Largest Fish, and Most Fish honors today. The final fish count is as follows: Chris with 3 Bluefish (1 - 22" @ 5 lbs., 2 - 16") and 1 short Flounder. Jim Jr. with 1 keeper Flounder at 18" and Chuck with some assorted fish. While the threat of rain loomed, the weather held out until we were packed and leaving the marina to come home.

On a last minute decision, Jim Jr. and Chris P. fished The Great Bay this morning. A strong, cold, easterly wind created a fast drift that made fishing nearly impossible. Jim managed a 14" throwback flounder and Chris hooked into a monster Sea Robin. Several close-by anglers reported numerous Bluefish.
