Jim Jr. and Chuck B. fished the area around Ship John Lighthouse in the Deleware Bay during the incoming tide today. The anglers split the total take of six (6) Atlantic Croaker. The Croakers were caught on a combintation of Shedder Crab, scented Squid and Killies.
- Barnegat Inlet - Barnegat , NJ -
Jim Jr. and Capt. Ron Sr. fished the waters outside of Barnegat Inlet aboard the Fishhawk today. A slack tide produced numerous Sea Robins for both anglers. Jim Jr. also caught a short Black Sea Bass and a short Flounder. Nothing came home in the cooler today, but there was plenty of beautiful weather, calm seas, and great fun shared between friends. Could you ask for anything more? Absolutely, keeper fish would be nice. Next time.

Jim Jr. and Ron Sr. fished the waters in and around the Barnegat Inlet today. After an early miss of a Bluefish on a pink, Zoom Super Fluke, Ron Sr. connected on a small Bluefish using a minnow and squid strip. You couldn't ask for a better day on the water. Well, you could, but the only thing that could have made the day any better would be more fish. Same story, different day.

Jim Jr. and Chris K. fished at Game Creek again today. Both anglers did their best to discover the same pattern as the week before, but both were greated with mediocre success. Chris caught one Largemouth Bass that weighed in at almost 2 lbs. while Jim Jr. caught two small Largemouth Bass. Not a bad day overall.

Jim Jr. and Chris K. fished at Game Creek today. The weather was perfect and so was the fishing. Neither angler missed a hookset and boated a total of 7 Largemouth Bass. Chris K. took 'big fish' and 'first fish' while Jim Jr. took most fish. Total breakdown: Jim Jr. :: 4 Largemouth Bass. Chris K. :: 3 Largemouth Bass. Both anglers used 7" Berkley Power Worms fished weightless and cast to the edge of isolated lily pads.
- Indian Mills Lake - Shamong, NJ -
Jim Jr. decided to take another solo shot at Indian Mills Lake this afternoon. The fish were not holding tight to the Lily Pads today, but were roaming the flats between the solitary stump and the reeds. The only bite of the day came unhooked as a decent bass jumped and shook the hook.

Jim Jr. made a solo trip to Indian Mills Lake early this afternoon. After checking the usual spots, he finally located some fish in the isolated clumps of undeveloped Lily Pads. Once again missed hooksets were the story for this trip.
- Rainbow Lake - Pittsgrove, NJ -
Jim Jr. and Chris K. fished at Rainbow Lake in Pittsgrove, NJ this morning. The wind was blowing harder than anticipated, but both anglers tried their best. Chris registered the only bite of the day on a live shiner, but once again a missed hookset resulted in a lost fish. Sounds like a pattern is developing.
- Assunpink Lake - Robbinsville, NJ -
Jim Jr. and Chris K. fished at Assunpink Lake this morning. What started out as a windy day eventually ended in a beautiful setting to catch fish. There was only one problem, the fish weren't cooperating. Only one hit today, a solid Largemouth that refused to be caught and shook Jim Jr.'s jig before he came into sight.

Jim Jr. and Chuck B., 'The Crappie King', fished on the waters of Game Creek for the first time this season. Recent rains and a cold front made fishing difficult at best. Chuck did manage to retain his title by catching the only fish of the day, a Crappie.
